I would love to see you review Lost in Yonkers. I just stumbled upon it and before I rent it I wanted to read a review. Thanks for considering this film.
Dawn, I will add Lost in Yonkers to the list of films and take a look at it as soon as possible. Thanks for the suggestion!

Producer
Candyman:The David Klein Story
Thank you, Bert, I look forward to watching the film!
I am a writer and editor specializing in Jewish History.
I am also an American Film Institute graduate.
I am working on a list of *modern* anti-Semitic films,
movies which portray Jews in a highly negative,
stereotypical, or fraudulent way.
An example of a modern anti-Semitic film would be
“The Doctor” (1991), which was based on the autobiography
of a very Jewish doctor, but the film character was turned
into a gentile who was forced to confront a fictitious and
highly stereotypic Jewish villain.
Would you care to tell me your choices?
Stan Brin
Stan, good question. I think that An Education has a very ugly set of stereotypes in it, although I understand that the filmmakers insisted that was not their intent.
I’d be very interested in seeing your list!
